Glynn had told dad “ dad I see a deer way back there” I brushed it off like ok kiddo you’re getting excited over nothing cause of the rain drizzle we have right now. But another 5 minutes we see a single mature doe start walking to our stick. Glynn was getting a tad upset he could see it but not in the scope of the .270. Dad had to help locate it then glynn was ready to pull the trigger on his 1st deer. Dad removed the safety and took a deep breath and shot it in the neck, we got to watch her back flip over and kick 2 times then nothing. We waited for a few then approached her, got a photo then went for the ATV to get off the back side of our private land. He is excited for his deer heart dinner now.
