We were in one spot and weren’t seeing anything, Grayson wanted to move to the field and when we walked over to the hilltop there were numerous bucks eating. Grayson got his target on the smaller 10pt deer since it was a better shooting angle and decided to take the shot. Deer kicked and ran about 100 yards and dropped. We waited a few hours packed up and went back to find him and it was a clean heart shot. He is 12 and started hunting at six and has had a successful hunt each year, A true hunter.
