I was getting pictures of this deer all summer on my trail Camara watching his antlers grow each week hoping he would hang around till the archery started.The last week of September I didn't get any pictures of him and I thought he had changed to his fall pattern and moved on but on Friday 10-2-26 I saw him feeding in my food plot about 7 pm so I hunting the evening of 10-3-26 didn't see him but saw the 2 bucks he was usually with I couple of 2 year old 8 pointers.On 10-4-26 the wind changed from southeast to northwest which is perfect for my set up.At 7pm he entered the food plot from the southwest side started feeding about 90 yards away slowly working his way toward my blind at 35 yards he turned broadside and I let him have it.He ran about 80 yards and piled up.
