I had actually shot this buck 2 weeks prior with a bow. He came in grunting at my bleat and walked to within 15 yards, he gave me a nice broadside shot. Arrow made a nice path through and was covered in good blood, however I must have hit him a little too low. Could not find him. Saturday morning at 7:30 he came back to the same spot, 45 yards and dropped him where he stood. Been and interesting season.
