I am very lucky for the opportunity I had to take this buck, I was starting to lose faith that I wouldn’t see anything that morning, gunshots were going off all around me. It was about 30 mins after sunrise and I looked to the left and a doe was walking out, she kept looking back I figured there was a another doe but this guy came out hot on her trail. He gave me a good look so I fired at him. The blood trail was very thin so I thought I made a bad shot I kept following the little bit of blood there was. My girlfriend looked up and said there he is, 20 yards from where I shot, I made a good double lung shot.
