Sat through a brief downpour after i got in my spot and was thinking it might get the deer moving. Kept seeing deer in a fresh cut cornfield a couple hundred yards away and had a spike chasing does throughout the woods. Wasn’t hearing anything for a bit, looked around and the 11 was 25 yards behind some brush. Hit him at 20 yards and knocked another arrow, 5 minutes later a mainframe 8 with a broken beam came in at 15 yards. First deer in 6 years, first time doubling up, and biggest buck so far with the 11
