Got permission on a new property and went out for an observation sit. With about 15 minutes of shooting light left, this buck walked out of the corn and came right towards me and caught me drawing my bow giving me a frontal shot at 23 yards. Hit him in the lungs and he ran off and crashed in the woods. This is my 3rd year bow hunting and I couldn’t have asked for a better start to the season!
