Was very fortunate enough to harvest my number 1 target buck for the year.
Ten days prior he ducked my arrow hard at 28 yards, clipping the bottom of the shoulder and never entering the vitals. I wasn’t able to identify the deer so I wasn’t sure it was him I shot.
My next hunt out, only hunting the buck I wounded and not knowing if he was dead or alive, he showed back up hot on a doe. After stopping him I had a 30 min standoff at 40 yards he came in and made his mistake.
Was super happy to share the moment with my family, friends and neighbors.
