Named the buck Loki. Had 15 encounters in 2019 as a 2 1/2 and let him walk. After finally getting pictures in early October 2020, I determined he was hugging property line pretty consistently right after dark on trail camera exactly like the year before. I put up a stand in early September on the trail he ran predicting he would have a similar pattern as the previous year. Had two encounters in late October, the latter of the two the neighbors dog chased him away and he disappeared off camera for two weeks. On Nov. 12th, I saw a lone deer running the trail I dubbed “Loki’s run”, I pulled up my binoculars and couldn’t believe my eyes. He walked the trail right where I had predicted and smoked him at 35 yards exactly. He went 115 yards with a rage in his heart.
