After hunting over a food plot on Saturday with little action, Jack decided he wanted to hunt in the swamp on day two. We watched a couple of does and fawns for about two hours. Around 9:45 a doe crossed about 100 yards down one of our cuts but was gone before Jack could get his shotgun up. We waited for a few minutes for the doe to return when this eight point stepped out. It didn’t take long for Jack to find his mark. This is Jack’s third buck in three years, all taken on day two of the youth hunt.
