I had zero deer movement all morning from my tree stand so I got down around 10:30 and decided to stalk through a marsh that I usually stay out of all year long. I had the wind in my face and I would glass through the cattails every step I took. I spotted a buck at about 60 yds but the cover was so thick I had no idea what it was. I crept forward another 5 yds to the base of a willow tree and made a few soft grunts. He immediately grunted back and started coming my way. I caught a glimpse of his rack and about had a heart attack! He walked in all bristled up and postured straight towards me. By the time he turned broadside he was at 10 yds! Double lung with the 450 bushmaster, put him down in 10 yds. Talk about an adrenaline rush!!!
