What a weekend! My father in law and I were able to get her done back to back mornings out of the same stand! Deer were moving all weekend. On Sunday I had this buck chasing a doe through the thicket and wasn’t able to get a clean shot. 20 minutes later they circled back around and came within 10 yards of the stand. When I pulled up to shoot, the doe spooked off and he followed. I let out a desperation grunt to get him to stop. Sure enough he turned in curiosity, took one step out from behind a tree giving me a clean shot at 75 yards. Ran 30 and dropped in eyesight. This one will not be forgotten!
