Saw him once earlier in the year about 60 yards away couldn’t put a shot on him with my bow. That particular part of camp didn’t get much hunting pressure during this year, so I was hoping he was going to stick around. I went out opening morning to the same spot I saw him it was a quiet slow morning, went out for the afternoon hunt again not much activity until a doe came rolling through and he wasn’t far behind. I stopped him and made a perfect heart shot, didn’t go 50!
