My Buddy and I doubled up, we sat in the morning had issues with other people walking around right at daybreak that had permission to hunt the same field. We decided to go get some breakfast and on the way back we took a detour back to the field just to check it out. There were at least 8 birds I could see in the woods next to the field. We got down to the field set up down a hill where the birds had to come over the hill to see where the calling was coming from. I sat and called and immediately the birds hammered. About 10 minutes passed and the birds came in giving me a shot. I dropped the bigger one and the other stood there my buddy dropped him as well. Both had 1 1/2inch hooks. The bigger one was 10 2/16th and my buddy’s was 9 13/16th.
