I had seen this buck two days prior in a different stand and just couldn’t make a shot happen. Fast forward two days later I was watching a bunch of little bucks throughout my morning and evening sit chasing does around so I had a feeling a hot doe was running in the area and was bound to attract a number of bucks. As I was glassing some small bucks in the distance I heard the rustling of some corn stalks that the farmer had missed close to the stand. And sure enough it was the big 8! He walked in to 20 yards and gave me a shot opportunity, and now he’s in the freezer!
