I was on my way to my stand midday when I busted a bedded doe just off of my clover plot. As soon as I pulled my bow up, I spotted a buck headed back behind me towards the clover and doe. I had a window at 55 yards and decided to let one fly. My arrow hit the mark and he ran 30 yards and died. On 6 acres of private land with 1 quarter acre clover plot with the rest thick cover.
