The season was pretty dry for me had some decent bucks early bow season but nothing much after that. Decided to go out hadn’t been out for about a week. Had nothing come in until last light a group of doe were close he came out at 50 yards behind another doe. Quite the track that night the blood trail circled back so I went in and came back the next morning to find where he veered off. Found him piled up next to a log after a bit more tracking. Had it not been for the snow I’m not sure I would have found this guy. Biggest buck for me and an amazing experience! Solid 8 point 16-1/2” inside spread. Huge thanks to my neighbor for the help and opportunity!
