I shot the 8 pt first while tending a scrape in front of me. He ran about 60 yards before bedding down and expiring. As I was watching him bed down I heard something behind me and there was the 9 pt! He made his way to the same scrape before challenging a younger buck and that is when I decided Id take the shot. Didn’t go 20!
