On Friday November 9th, my sister came home for a weeeknd visit from college wanting to go hunting with me. With her request, I put down my compound bow for the night and grabbed a ground blind along with the crossbow and headed out not expecting to see a deer at all. Most the time spent in the ground blind was telling jokes, screwing around, and trying to be quiet knowing we couldn’t. Her and I sat for about an hour until around 4:00 in the evening, somehow/someway after making all the noise we were making, this guy came strolling in checking a scrape. At 44 yards the arrow sunk into him. Was a great memory made with the sis!
