Didn’t get to hunt much last season and ended up eating tag soup so I was intent on getting some venison in the freezer this year. I snuck in a couple hours before light and settled into my climber. He came up the ridge and stopped broadside just at shooting light at 25yds. He ran back down the ridge and piled up 50yds from the shot. I tagged him and dressed him out and sat in my stand the rest of the day before dragging him back to the truck. Not a monster but I couldn’t be happier.
