Sat for the evening hunt in a tree line separating an alfalfa field and freshly worked corn field. Faced the alfalfa all night but 15 minutes before dark decided to stand up and creep into the corn field because I had seen a few doe eating corn all evening. Scanned the deer I could see with my scope and noticed the tall antlers. Grabbed my tripod from my sitting spot and set it up. Ranged at about 300 yards, set my elevation dial on my Leupold, fired a shot and dropped him! Insane shot and biggest buck to date!
