Still hunting some hiking trails, he was the 12th deer I saw that morning. One of them was a bigger buck who didn’t stop long enough for a shot. Feeling pretty bummed about that I continued on. An hour or so later I made my way out to the lake Huron shoreline. I was walking on the beach when he stepped out for a drink about 175yrds down the beach. The rest is history, he only went 30 yards. This is when the real work began, as I was 2.75 miles from the truck. So I hiked back to the truck for the cart and my awesome wife met me to help get him out. What a awesome day in the woods
