Got out to the stand later than we wanted. Sat through a long downpour and almost got down after only seeing a few does. My wife had this buck at 20 yards without a clean shot on the other side of the property and I didn’t think I’d have a chance at seeing him. This has been our #1 hit lister and sure enough he showed up about an hour later at 20 yards and caught me off guard. We had a stare down and he took a few steps and I let the arrow fly. My biggest buck to date!
