Went out this morning not thinking this was gonna happen. I got a huge 9pt. This year was full of ups and downs for me. Mental errors and being at the wrong spot and getting busted by this guy earlier before rifle started. But walked over a ridge that splits the property and had 3 does on the trail we walk on. Had one little one in the field we walk through playing peek a boo with me over the hills edge. She moved so I moved up a few steps and saw him looking at the does. First shot was a miss was having a heart attack from crossing the ridge. But second shot hit the mark. Only shot I had was a throat shot. So I took the shot.. rest is history. Thanks to Carl Meissner for making the suggestion on doing a push. And talking me through this year. He’s a great guide. Haha.
