I wasn’t expecting to see much with 13” of fresh snow on the ground and the fact that I had only seen 2 other deer all season. I had a big doe come in but with all the snow weighing down the branches she never presented me with a decent shot. I was pretty bummed out because I knew it was one of my last times out up there this season, next thing I know I caught movement to my left and there he was. I didn’t have time to think or really tell how big he was I just knew he was a nice one. I stopped him at 75 yards and the 350 did the trick. 100 yard track and there he was.
