I was walking to the top of a big hill to overlook the ravine in a few year old clear cut with small growth Aspen trees…I jumped this 9pt and a doe at 40/50 yards the buck ran strait away no shot turned to follow where the doe went in the swamp in front other side of the ravine…finally slowed down I got on him 3 tomes before I calmed myself down..lol..he finally stopped I took a deep breath put the cross hairs a foot over his back exhaled dropping the cross hairs as I let breath out ..when my breath was gone the cross hairs hit his shoulder I squeezed easy and down he went ….6.5 Creedmoor is Surgical.. 300 yrd shot took 20 mins to cross the ravine to get to him lol 1 hr to get him out to the truck …thanks to my 70 year old dad for his help..
