Well, the birds this season sure made me work for it! There was no plan to even be hunting this evening let alone on Peradise Farms. I stepped out back to look at all the deer in the hay field and notice a black dot mixed in with them, I went over to my truck and grabbed the binoculars and what do I see, THIS GUY! So I ran back into the house threw my camo gear on from head to toe(well ankle), ran back outside to my truck to grab the box call and shotgun, then sprinted through my woods down the center trail and sat along the fields edge at the base of a giant oak tree. My sit was only 10 minutes before he was in range and……. BOOM! 🦃down and my first long beard on Peradise farms
