Thanksgiving has always been a great day to hunt and tonight was no exception. After filling my belly with turkey and taters, I slipped out the the blind about an hour before dark, deployed the Conquest VS1 and with less than 10 minutes left of legal shooting light I spotted a deer moving through the brush. I glassed him with my binos and low and behold it was a buck. As soon as he caught the scent of the VS1 he turned and came straight towards it. Once he cleared some trees I took the shot at about 40 yards.
