I’ve been chasing a nice 8 point on a different property and seen him on my first 4 hunts in a row to start the season. He was never quite close enough to seal the deal. Had to get a change in scenery so went hunting with my good friend on his property got the first time this season and this was the first deer that I seen! It was just before 8 a.m. that I shot, so I sat for 2 hours so my buddy could try to get one. I had 3 more bucks within 15 yards of me and 3 does throughout the rest of the morning. After what seemed like an eternity (2 hours) we took up the track and he only went about 40 yards!! Biggest buck to date!
