I got permission from a buddy to hunt his property because another friend of his decided not to go out that afternoon. I didn’t get out as early as I wanted to, but was able to get all setup by 3:30. 15 minutes later I heard something out in front of me and seen this bruiser slowly walking through the thicket. After another 15 minutes of watching him make his way through the thicket opening, I buried a shot just behind the shoulder and he ran off into the woods and disappeared into the brush, where I heard him pile up 80 yards away. I am super grateful to my buddy for letting me hunt his property and can’t thank him enough! What a buck!
