Morning started out pretty slow, saw one hen far off and heard the gobbling grow faint. Sure enough, these two made their way into our field. They called to our decoys but wouldn’t come in closer than 60 yards. They wandered back but were putting on quite the show and calling like crazy into the woods. Shortly after, two hens appeared. One B-lined for our decoys and eventually the other followed. The boys couldn’t resist and the rest was history. Daves first bird and my first double, my favorite hunt to date !
