Was a slow start to opening morning and just when I thought the day was gonna b a bust at about 915am this 10 point came in to the south chasing after another smaller buck chasing a doe, watched them run to the neighbors property, they shot and missed, turned back to our property about 190 yards out took aim and lead him while he was on a dead run, dropped him in his tracks. Biggest buck ive gotten so far and couldnt be happier. Never saw him on cam all year, hunted bow season hard but corn was up till the day before gun season opener. First opening day deer ever in my 15 years of hunting and first deer ive ever shot on a run too. Absolutely blessed to have this opportunity
