I’ve only missed 3 opening days in my life, 2 were due to me being deployed to Iraq and the 3rd was this years opening day because of a wedding. After the wedding I showered, got in my truck and drove the 3 1/2 hours to Curran in Alcona County in time for the morning hunt and shot the 6pt @ 3pm on the 16th and the following day at the exact same time the 7pt came out. Dropped both of them in the same spot too! Great year!
