Sunday evening around 6pm a doe crossed the road into the property. She almost busted me sitting in the treestand and was in her way to winding me when the buck on the right came walking in following her path. He didn’t notice me and walked right under my stand. Waited till he was past me before I shot him at 15 yards quartering away. Was a heart shot and heard I’m crash 70yards away. Slept in the next morning and went out for the evening hunt and had good action right from the beginning. Had another nice 8pt come through chasing two doe about 5:30pm but he never came within 50yards. At about 6:30pm I could see a single doe slowly making her way towards me feeding as she went. Took her 20 minutes to get into my area where she hung around feeding. That was when the (left) buck came chasing after her and she brought him right in my direction. I ended up stopping him 40yards out and hit him with a double lung shot.
