I saw this buck the night before while I was bow hunting. He was 70 yards away and did not have any interest in getting closer. The next day we hunted all day and saw a lot of does and a buck that was too small to shoot in lake county. We left for lunch around noon. I headed back to my stand around 2:30. I had hit my grunt call a couple of times after getting to the blind. 20 minutes later he came sneaking through a bottom to my north. A smaller buck had snuck behind a ridge where I could not see him. My buck saw him and came running right in my direction shaking his head and grunting. He stopped behind a tree and was stomping and shaking his head looking at this smaller buck. He took one more step into my shooting lane and I put one right in the boiler room. He did a 20 yard circle and dropped right where I had shot him.
