This deer tested positive for CWD.
I saw him a week prior and was able to kill him on 11/1/24. He had a unique rack but by all appearances seemed like a normal buck. I sent his lymph nodes in for testing at MSU like I do for all deer and received a positive result, much to my surprise. I encourage everyone to get their deer tested before consuming them.
