I got out to my stand late around 7:55am he came out not more than 5 mins later he had come out about 100 yards away. Made a really low shot, backed out and waited until 11 to go check it out tracked him 400 yards until we found were he had payed down but no deer or blood trail leaving the bed. So we backed out got our dog who is untrained blue heeler/catahoula to see if she could help, she picked up a trail quick and lead us back another 300 yards right to the deer! And I put the finishing touches on him and couldn’t be more relieved!
