It was my First hunt of the season. (Been watching this buck all spring and summer.) was in the stand and ready at 6:45 am. Still pretty dark with a light fog. I heard some rustling in the corn field next to my property then it got quiet again. It is now starting to get light and I see a brown lump heading towards me about 80 yards out. He walked right up in front of my stand and stopped about 7 yards out directly facing me. He put his head down to nibble some grass I drew my bow back and put the arrow just behind his neck between the spine and left shoulder he went 80yards and fell. Biggest buck of my life so far.
