Spotted this buck around noon on 10/31 so I went in and hung a new stand during the freezing rain. While hanging the stand I took no chances and made sure that I would not be sky lite. Over the night we received 4in of snow and I sat a different stand in the morning. After the morning I checked out the new set and saw fresh buck tracks within bow range of the stand. I then went back to camp ate, shower, and shoot my bow and then jumped into the stand around 3pm. After sitting for 3 hours I had him walk down wind of me and less then 10 yards of me. He then walked to 17 yards and started feeding and I let the arrow fly. I found him piled up 70 yards from where I shot him. Spent 17 days in the woods this October to get my first archery buck.
