Walked a few doe tracks through the property at about 8:30. They led to the top of the biggest hill we have and bedded all night. When they got up they walked right back the way they had come. They hopped the fence in the corner of the corn field. I stepped up to take a look over the field when this guy hopped up 5 feet in front of me. He had been asleep for quite awhile since he was completely snow covered. 20 yards he stopped broadside and gave me the perfect shot. Biggest buck of my life so far.
