Getting pretty dark out when I see 2 doe come out of the pines to my left. The wind switches up and the does get wind of me and take off. 5 minutes later this buck comes within 50 yards behind some brush. It was 3 minutes before shooting light was done and he wouldn’t come out of the brush. I shot through the brush and double lunged him. Didn’t see blood and forgot my light so coyotes got to him before we did in the morning.
