Nothing like a Great Opening day with my boys and family. We had a hunt that we will all remember for many years. First was the 7, we passed on him a few times at 1st light. After looking for a nice buck my cousin shot at through the brush we walked up on this 7 and a 6 fighting. The 6 was nicer but ran off, after staring at the 7 I decided to take him. We after he went 20yds we drug him up to the drive so we could bring the truck right to him. Decided to walk out front and try to jump something for my cousin, while waiting for him to get into position my middle son was looking around and grabbed my arm and said there’s one. I turned around and the brute 9 stood up 20yds behind me. Dropped him in his tracks and ended the day with my 1st ever double. And was able to share every minute with my boys, happiest dad on earth!
