Getting this buck is bittersweet. I didnt know he was there all morning he was laying on the bank of the creek and I couldn’t see him from my stand. I got down after seeing alot of morning action and figured I would follow the creek up. I noticed this buck bedded down with his head up looking around so I got down behind a small thicket and inched my way closer. I checked and he was still there so I took the shot. When I got up to him I noticed coyotes had been eating on him, he was hit by a car and had two broken rear legs. Just shows how resilient of an animal the white tail is. This deer was almost 40 acres off the road and had been attacked by coyotes and was still alive. Glad to get the buck I had been seeing on camera but wish it was better circumstances.
