Never seen this buck before Saturday at 11AM. He stayed between 80-120 yards away directly in front of me breeding and guarding a doe. I was not planning on an all day sit, but because of him I stayed in my stand from 730AM to 7PM with no food or drinks. Sat the same stand the next morning, he stormed out of the woods looking for some young bucks that had been sparring moments earlier. Ended up making his way to 35 yards and turned just enough to give me a decent shot. Went in his neck and out his shoulder. Longer track job than I would like, but we found him.
Biggest buck I’ve ever seen on this property in 12 years of hunting it.
