I got out of football practice early, rushed to my stand and was in the stand at 6:00pm. I thought I wasn’t going to see anything because I scared two bucks and some does off when I was walking out. About 45 minutes later he walked out into the soybean field. As he walked back into the weeds I thought to myself well there goes my chance. He walked around and got some does up from bedding. He guided him to the field and stopped 30 yards away. I drew back my bow got a steady shot and put it right behind his front shoulder. He ran about 70 yards and dropped. My first bow buck.
