Excited to say I’ve officially taken down my first deer/buck last night at approximately 6:50 pm. I saw this buck a week before but he did not come into shooting range. I let a couple late calls out around 6:45 pm and he came in approximately 35 yards broadside. I froze him with a couple grunts and put a nice shot on him with my compound bow. To say I am excited is an understatement. Feels good to join the club.
