Hadn’t seen anything all morning and was getting pretty down. I saw 6 doe coming directly at me and decided to take one because I don’t get much time to hunt due to farming. Shot the doe at about 40 yards. Started trying to reload my muzzleloader Incase anything else came in, and I look to my right and had this buck start walking towards me at a good speed so I reloaded as quickly as possible (after dropping several pellets) and having to reach for more I finally got reloaded. He Stopped about 200 yards out and changed directions and I thought he would be gone. I hit the grunt call twice he turned Back at me and came on a line. He stopped at 50 yards and gave me a good shot and I made it count. Was a hunt to remember. It was my first time ever shooting 2 deer in one sit, let alone 4 minutes apart with a muzzleloader.
