After a hard day of hunting in unfavorable weather Saturday, was able to get set up tight to a roost Sunday morning watched 11 beards pitch down. After an hour of listening to the group beat each other up and gobble their heads off just out of sight I had enough and slipped down the backside of the ridge to get even with them, crawled my way up behind a tree 56 yards away picked one out and gave him a ride in the truck. Hopefully the first of many turkey pictures with my little boy.
