This is my first kill as a mom! Being a new mom I found myself juggling hunting and having to be very flexible on when I could make it out to the woods.

Well the opener for gun was pretty successful for me!! I shot this buck at about 50yds about 20 mins after my dad shot his 8pt that came into his stand (across the woods from me) with a doe. This buck was a sneaky one and caught me by surprise. This is my biggest buck to date and I am still so shocked and thankful that I was able to harvest such an awesome buck!

Shout out to my Dad Dustin and Adam for all the help and support this season. (Oh and to my Nana, Mom, and sister for being the best baby sitters so mama can fill the freezer.)

Can’t wait to teach my little girl the tricks of the trade and share these moments with her!
