After 3 years of trying, this 13 year old got her first deer ever! I convince my parents to take Hunter Safety three years ago so I could hunt. I have worked hard over the last three years, learning something each year, and it paid off! I have been in the blind every day for the past week and a half. Last night, a doe walked into the field and my Mom told me not to shoot it. I was mad mad, but it turned out OK because this guy walked in right behind her. We had to track it for a while last night and lost it. We went back out this morning and found it less than an hour later. It’s not the “big guy” I hoped for, but still super excited!
